We’ve all been there, done that. Dancing on table tops, unleashing our singing talents at karaoke and hugging the floor and the walls. Thanks to the extra shots of bubbly! It drains even the slightest signs of intelligence from our faces. P.S.: Don’t ask us for details.
If you are still a little buzzed after the weekend’s escapades, you’re probably not looking your best right now. Nonetheless, that’s not a valid excuse to look sloppy at work or at college. But hey, we’ve got you your wardrobe fix. Hangover or not, you must look your best. Read on:
Comfy, warm and clothing to provide you an instant happy shelter. Especially, when you want to hide from the public eye. They are an absolute must-have. In case you are bored, you can also try the arm flappy thing.
We love our pyjamas. Unfortunately, we can’t wear them outside. One happy alternative to pyjamas are sweatpants. They aren’t always flattering, but it obviously looks a lot more decent. Team them up with basic tees or funky-printed tees, sneakers and a cap (it may not be a good hair day).
Wear sweatpants to work only if you are fashionably-adventurous. For work, go for sweatpants which are tapered at the ankles and is made of thin material. The pants should have a high-waist elastic band. Wear a tucked-in sheer shirt and team it up with a pair of ballerinas or your favorite pumps. This might help you avoid an email from the HR in your inbox as well.
Good ol’ jeans
You can never go wrong with this. The old pair of jeans is always a good wardrobe idea. You can avoid much of the morning dilemma by opting for your favorite pair of blue jeans. Wear them with a printed shirt or tunic, and a pair of loafers or strappy sandals. Add some pop color to your pout and you are good to go. Hangover? Not at all!
It’s comfy and looks good. Try teaming up your sundress with a denim jacket or a black blazer. Go for bright colors and prints. Accessorize them with fun chunky bangles, but don’t over-do. You can tie up your hair into a ballerina bun. Try not to confuse the sundress with a nightgown. You don’t want people to think you are sleepwalking.
An absolute must-have accessory. Whatever is your style – aviators, wayfarers, cat eye or clubmaster – ’tis the time to pull out your favorite sunglasses. Wear your favorite pair with any outfit and you are all set to seize the day!
And while you are fixing your wardrobe to suit the week, don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee and a few bottles of water.
