IIFA Utsavam: Baahubali and Srimanthudu Win Top Honours

IIFA are presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour  the artistic and technical excellence of the Bollywood industry. Started in the year 2000, the awards are primarily hosted for the Hindi film industry.

After 15 years, the team has decided to foray into South India as well. Named IIFA Utsavam, the first edition of the awards ceremony took place in Hyderabad, and it honoured the big achievers of the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industry. The event was spread over two days. Here’s what happened at the event.

India’s very own Michael Jackson, Prabhu Deva dazzled the audience with his dance performance. Ram Charan, Shriya Saran and Akhil Akkineni also entertained everyone with their dance performances.
The Red Carpet
When it comes to awards shows, it is needless to say that celebrities try and look their best. IIFA Utsavam was nothing different. From Tammannah’s stylish bright green outfit to Regina Cassandra‘s gorgeous number; the ladies scorched the red carpet with their hotness.
The men weren’t far behind either, Mahesh Babu looked dapper in a black suit, whereas Siddharth  looked every bit like a rockstar in his maroon suit.
