"I do not like to travel", said no one ever. Travelling is a beautiful experience that introduces you to new people, cultures and locations. One you have been bitten by the travel bug, there is no stopping you. However, in today's world, we often tend to get stuck in the rut of our daily lives and as much as we want to drop everything and set off to new places, we do not.
Hopefully, these few inspiring stories of people who are jet-setting around the globe will give you goals and provide you with all the travel inspo you need.
Just last week, we were introduced to Cassandra De Pecol, who is probably the first (and the fastest) woman to travel all the countries in the world. She has almost ticked every country off her list and is in the last leg of her trip. Her journey is called Expedition 196 and she is traveling as an ambassador for Peace and Global Citizen. Although most of her expenses are sponsored, isn’t she a source of inspiration, especially for all single women travelers out there.
The "Follow Me" couple
The first picture was an accident but it became so popular that couple Murad Osmann and Natalia Zakharova started an entire series called ‘Follow Me’. The series includes pictures of Natalia leading Osmann at several exotic locations and famous landmarks all across the globe, which inspired several other couples to follow their footsteps.
Roshni Sharma is the first Indian woman who rode a bike from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Covering 19 states in 11 days, this was one badass trip.
Best budget couple
Husband and wife Devapriya Roy and Saurav Jha quit their 9-to-5 jobs to follow their passion and travel. They traveled on a budget of Rs. 500 per day and wrote a book about it titled The Heat and Dust Project. Aren’t these two providing some major travel goals for every couple out there?!
Chai walas turned travellers
Chai walas seem to be in the news for doing really cool things. Vijayan and his wife Mohana have a tea stall in Kochi and the couple has travelled to 17 countries in the world. They save up and take loans, if necessary, to plan their trips but do not compromise on their passion for travel.
Reading these few inspiring stories makes us want to get packing and take off right away. Don’t you agree?
