Mahaakshay Chakraborty, after a variety of roles in Enemmy, Loot and Jimmy will now be seen in the love story Ishqedarriyaan, directed by V.K. Prakash. The film stars Evelyn Sharma as Lovleen, a teacher who requires funds for her school, where she meets Aagam (Mahaakshay Chakraborty), a millionaire. But Lovleen is already in love with Arjun (Mohit Datta), who is a singer.
In an exclusive with BookMyShow,we caught up with Mahaakshay, who spoke about his upcoming film, his family and the decisions he has taken since his debut in Jimmy (2008). The son of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, discussed at length the various films he has done so far. From playing a policeman in Enemmy to a horror film Haunted (2011), Mahakshay has been playing various roles over the past few years. His most recent film Loot, saw him in a comic role which was well received . Never one to shy away from the camera, Mahaakshay will be seen in a new avatar in this unique love-triangle. The songs of the film have garnered great praise, with music composed by Arijit Singh and Jeet Ganguly. The film is produced by Rajesh Banga and directed by V.K. Prakash. The movie is set for a May 15 release.
