T20 cricket league Teams in a Classroom

The T20 cricket league is underway, with Rajasthan Royals leading the pack. The first week has featured a century by Brendon McCullum and spectacular catches, with nail-biting finishes. The league, over the years  has been a  hotbed for the development of younger players such as Sanju Samson, Mandeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah to name a few. While the seasoned players such as Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Ricky Pointing are all coaches or mentors for their respective teams. Now, suppose we club the T20 cricket league teams together into a classroom and analyze them. And of course, this is a top notch class due to the strength only being 8 students.

1. Mumbai Indians

The student who buys all the fancy material for the year but fades away when the year starts. He then picks himself up and studies at the last moment, and passes with good marks.

2. Sunrisers Hyderabad

The new student who is just getting acclimatized to the new classroom and culture.

3. Delhi Daredevils

The one who fails miserably at every internal and term exams. Grace marks Chahiye ?

4. Chennai Super Kings

The class topper and bully. He has financial muscle combined with brains, makes him a formidable force. He wins almost everything, and is the most consistent performer.

5. Rajasthan Royals

That student who is shrewd in money matters and helps youngsters in the school. Inconsistency being his only bane, he is a formidable

leader.

6. Royal Challengers Bangalore

The social butterfly of the class, who has big bucks to spend. He is surrounded by the best of people, but looses himself in the party and

money.

7. Kings XI Punjab

Never scored good marks, but due to years of toiling hard, he is now making his place amongst the elite.

8. Kolkata Knight Riders

The most extravagant of the lot, he is vibrant and positive. A fierce competitor, but lacks focus at times.
