Verdict: Intense emotional action, family drama!
After delivering back-to-back blockbusters in the form of Mirchi and Srimanthudu, Koratala Siva comes up with his third directorial venture Janatha Garage. This time he has tied up with Jr. NTR, who has recently given the highest grosser of his career with Nannaku Prematho. Added to this phenomenal combination, we also have Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in a very important role. Amidst gigantic expectations, Janatha Garage released today with thunderous openings across the world. Let's see if it has met the humongous expectations set by the audience.
Satyam (Mohanlal) is a mechanic and has immense respect towards people. He will leave no stone unturned to protect the people who come for help. Anand (Jr. NTR) wants to work towards saving the planet Earth. What makes Satyam build Janatha Garage? How does Anand meet Satyam and why does he join Janatha Garage? What is the relation between them? How do they help people from the evil clutches of the society? These questions form the core concept of Janatha Garage.
The story proceeds quickly, without any speed-breakers. There is no character in the movie that is unnecessary. Each and every character has an important part in the plot. This is what makes Koratala Siva different from the rest of the current Tollywood directors. With his style of narration, the audience can feel the freshness and probably that is the secret of his success ratio. With Janatha Garage, he has comfortably scored a hattrick at the start of his glorious career.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao has once again excelled in his role and has given a performance of a lifetime in Janatha Garage. He has proved once again that he is a perfectionist and all the emotional scenes involving him and Mohanlal are the major highlights of Janatha Garage. Mohanlal has also delivered a thundering performance and is a treat to watch both of them share screen space. Samantha and Nithya Menen played their parts well. We got to see Devyani, who played Mohanlal’s wife, after a long time. She is just as beautiful as she was before. Vijay Kumar played the role of CM efficiently. The whole Garage team, which includes Ajay, Aravind and others have enacted their roles well.
Photography by Thiru is spell-binding. He has captured all the visuals in the most fascinating way possible. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is a treat to the ears and his background score was played to perfection. The songs Rock on Bro and Pranaamam Pranaamam are a visual treat to the audience. Art work is fantastic and so is the editing.
Why You Should Watch This Movie:
Janatha Garage is a movie rich in emotions, drama and action with some soothing music and terrific performances. It has all the ingredients of a good commercial movie. Not to be missed!
