With the aim of giving the fans a chance to interact with their favorite stars, last year, the Mumbai Film Festival held its first ever Movie Mela. It had a Mr. India reunion; a session with Bollywood's young brigade – Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurana; and also got Deepika Padukone to talk about the pay gap in the industry. S. S. Rajamouli, Prabhas, Shobu Yarlagadda, Tamannah Bhatia, and Anushka Shetty were a part of this session. The director says that there would be a third part of Baahubali as he has many more stories to tell. S. S. Rajamouli was greatly inspired by Amar Chitra Katha comics and that’s why he decided to make Baahubali.
There will be VR zones all across the country which would showcase a part of Baahubali 2. This will take place close to the release of the film which is April 2017. It was Prabhas’ birthday and the entire crowd wished him. The motion poster, too, was unveiled at the event. The makers of Baahubali have tied up with Graphics India to make comic books and animation series on Baahubali. At the event, people got the to experience the Baahubali 2 teaser though VR. The budget of Baahubali 2 has crossed INR 250 crores.
