With a journey spanning over a century, Bollywood has offered some great actors who are always remembered with love and respect. From Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, to many more. Gracing with age, they are not mere superstars. They are legends. And then there are some who just fade away from our memories as soon as the movie is over. We opine that some of them should think twice before appearing on the silver screen. These are the talented people, who with their skills, leave a movie buff with two options:
- Forget the money spent on the movie ticket. Let’s leave.
- Or just pull out the TV plug.
These stars’ movies have heard the ‘boo’ noise at the highest decibel level. Here are ”the obvious” 7 Bollywood actors and actresses who should think of an alternative career plan:
Can you believe, Youngistaan was Jackky Bhagnani‘s fifth film. Do remember the previous four? Even if you don’t recall a single movie name, how can you forget his epic PSY’s Gangnam Style copy dance? Hope the video will give Jackky a hint to follow his father’s footsteps rather than creating his own path.
Rockstar, Madras Cafe and Main Tera Hero have something in common. Yes, you guessed it right! Nargis Fakhri. You must be imagining these are awesome films sans a good actress. Had movies been about actress pouting and not emoting throughout the film, Nargis wouldn’t have even made it to this list.
Movie: Love Story 2050. Verdict: Box Office disaster.
Movie: Victory. Verdict: Failed miserably at the Box Office.
Movie: What’s Your Raashee? Verdict: Couldn’t predict its own future. Commercial disaster.
Movie: Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (cameo). Verdict: Blink and gone.
Movie: Dishkiyaaon. Verdict: The silsila continues…
Do we need to say more? Harman, wait no longer for Bollywood fans to dishkiyaoon any of your upcoming films. Your sweetheart, Bipasha & you should act quickly and shift tracks. We meant career-wise.
Once the most-expensive "item girl" in Bollywood, she has Murder-ed the very meaning of acting. She kickstarted her career in 2003 with Khwahish followed by Murder and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. After driving the Indian audiences up the wall with her films and media presence, she explored the international arena. But failed miserably. High time Mallika takes a hint and plans something better for her career.
She is definitely a beauty, but not when it comes to acting. She maybe able to nail every look she flaunts, but acting is not her cup of tea. You may think Raanjhanaa & Bhaag Milkha Bhaag fared well at the box office. But trust us, it was because of everything else but her acting skills. We, as the audience, understand your love for fashion. So why not plan something on those lines?
We bring this list to a close with Himesh bhai. Ravi Kumar of The Xpose-fame will be back soon with his imploding charm and killer dialogues. Folks, get ready to sing, "Dard dilon ke kam ho jaate, pehli film ke baad aap Bye bol jaate". We feel he should concentrate on his career as a music composer (which he is very good with) rather than trying his luck with acting.
It’s high time that Bollywood movie-lovers should bid adieu to stars who struggle with their onscreen skills. Dedicated to all the talents who should plan an alternative career path to be successful in life.
