Justice League: Here’s What Critics Have To Say

Justice League is DC's latest offering after the success of Wonder Woman. The previous DC movies have failed to impress the critics, but there are high hopes for Justice League. The film aims to change the direction of the franchise to better compete with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the movie releases this Friday, critics have already had a chance to review the film. Here's a sneak peek at the Justice League review from international critics:

Justice League critic reviews

"Justice League,” the latest link of Tinkertoy in the DC Comics universe, has been conceived, in each and every frame, to correct the sins of “Batman v Superman.” It’s not just a sequel — it’s an act of franchise penance."

"I'm happy to say, fans on both sides of the DCEU debate will get plenty of what they hope for, while mainstream audiences are definitely going to be perhaps the most all-around pleased and enthusiastic about Justice League. It retains enough of the DNA of the previous films to be recognizable as their successor, while carving out a new space closer to the tone and style of action-adventure superheroism found in Wonder Woman."

"Justice League is the real deal. It's an epic ensemble of super heroes. It's the most fun you'll have with Batman and his super friends, until their next adventure together, and marks the beginning of a brand new era of super heroes on the DC side of the spectrum. "

"Taking more than one page from Marvel’s first “Avengers” installment, “Justice League” rounds up the current spate of active D.C. franchise superheroes, and the resulting 119-minute pileup of showdowns and one-liners is an undeniably tighter, more engaging experience."

"The pace of Justice League, which clocks in under two hours, feels like a blessing after so much bloat in previous superhero films. And Snyder’s gorgeously slick visual style is as easy on the eyes as ever. He seems to dream in comic book panels."

"Justice League is at its best when everyone forgets they’re supposed to be saving the world, and instead spends time learning about one another. Living a life of super heroism means drowning in isolation, but Justice League gives a few do-gooders the chance to find people who accept them for who they are."
