Verdict: A good attempt and an answer to the "Prema Desam" climax.
Kaadhali, starring Pooja K Doshi, Harish Kalyan and Sai Ronak in lead roles, is directed and produced by Pattabhi.R.Chilukuri. Among the three other small budgeted movies release today, Kaadhali has garnered more craze, as the producers have been publicizing this flick in a unique way with Ram Charan and KTR releasing the audio of this flick. With all newcomers at helm of affairs, let’s see what is in store for the common audience.
Baandhavi (Pooja K Doshi) is a physiotherapist at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad. All the marriage proposals that she gets go in vain as her parents suffer a severe business loss. She decides to look out for a perfect partner on her own with the encouragement from her grandmother and her friend Chandu. She meets Karthik (Harish Kalyan) and Kranthi (Sai Ronak) in this process amidst different incidents in a span of short time. Karthik is a middle class guy who is an engineer and lives life to the fullest. Though he has an offer to join TCS after his education, he rejects it for the reason that he likes to do what his heart says. He works with different companies and loves to do what he is good at. On the other hand, Kranthi is a filthy rich guy who never hesitates to get what he wants. The rest of the story is all about the way these three characters behave and who Baandhavi will choose as the life partner.
This is a dream role for Pooja and she has enacted to the best of her capabilities. Harish and Sai suited their roles to the tee. It is indeed a dream beginning for these three artistes. How they take there careers from here needs to be seen. The rest of the cast were perfect in their roles.
Pattabhi.R.Chilukuri has been the brain child behind this project as he is the producer and director of this flick, along with writing the story and screenplay. He should be commended for the way he has chosen his technicians. Photography by Shekhar V. Joseph is top notch for a low budget movie and so is the music by Prasan, Praveen and Shyam. Both these crafts are the saving grace of Kaadhali. Direction and writing could have been better. Editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh is crisp with the runtime just over two hours.
Why You Should Watch This Movie:
You can watch this movie as it is a feel good love story among three characters that will keep you engaged from the start till the end. Overall, a good attempt for a low budget flick. Story has close shades to Prema Desam and Kaadhali answers the question that "Prema Desam" posed in its climax.
