Mukta Arts unveiled the trailer of the much awaited Subhash Ghai venture Kaanchi. This marks the return of the showman Subhash Ghai who directed a movie way back in 2008 (Yuvvraaj).
Lots of hopes and expectations are riding on Kaanchi, since it was announced 2 years back. After the failure of Yuvvraaj in 2008, Subhash Ghai announced Kaanchi and said that, he would take his own time to make this movie as he wanted to refrain from making the same mistakes he made with his last release.
The trailer opens with an introduction to Kaanchi‘s life, played by debutante Mishti. The trailer also features Kartik Aaryan as the male lead and gives us glimpses of Mithun Chakraborty as a politician with Rishi Kapoor and Chandan Roy Sanyal advocating corruption. The village girl transforms into a revolutionary.
The trailer gives a glimpse of the film’s story, that of a feisty village girl, who fights against the police and the system in her own ways against injustice done to her.
Trailer portrays both the new actors and the stalwarts with elegance and leaves a sense of intrigue to know more about the premise of the movie. The background music complements the trailer wonderfully and you should expect more from the music of a Subhash Ghai movie.
This film should definitely be on your must-watch list when it releases on April 25, 2014.
