Krrish 3 Trailer: A promising start for India’s own superhero franchise

With great power comes great responsibility, said some superhero of yesteryears. Although this advice holds true but times have changed; now is the time for the new-age Indian superhero to rise and thrill the world with his superpowers, override the evil and save the world from dearth of humanity.

This year has seen volley of Superheroes movies that graced the big screen in India and abroad – Iron Man 3, Man of Steel (SuperMan), Wolverine. That’s not all, this Diwai get ready to welcome India’s favorite superhero who returns after a hiatus of 8 long years. The recently launched trailer of Krrish 3 shows a promising culmination of India’s own superhero franchise. The trailer which pumps up your adrenaline shows some amazing stunts performed by Hrithik along with the special effects which are at par with any Hollywood superhero film. The film looks to be a thorough big screen entertainment where Krrish takes charge to obliterate the evil. The trailer shows the film retaining its old characters – Priyanka Chopra as Priya Mehra, Hrithik as Rohit Mehra and Krishna Mehra, Archana Puran Singh as Priya Mehra’s boss, Rekha as Sonia Mehra – while leveling up the story with few other characters.

The trailer opens to Rohit deciphering the power of solar energy bestowed upon him by Jadoo, our in-house version of E.T. While Rohit is busy with his experiments, the evil forces are already taking charge of the world in the garb of ‘Kaal’, the super-villain played by Viveik Oberoi. Although Viveik’s look has been kept undercover so far, his proficiency at the role has been praised by the Superhero himself! Yet another attraction of the film turns out to be a sexy, wicked mutant with superpowers, ‘Kaya’, played by Kangana Ranaut. With Kaya and Kaal hatching plans for destroying the world and ridding it of humanity, Krishna Mehra aka Krrish is put to test. His love for his family and his responsibility towards mankind together will enforce him to re-emerge and be in the saddle to save the world.

Having overlooked the entire making of the film, Rakesh Roshan is helmed as the sole visionary to have brought out Krrish 3. Talking about the director-producer’s contribution in the making of the film, son Hrithik agrees that his father’s courage, determination and dedication made Krrish what he is today! Ferreting out the negatives in the story to make the script adept, procreated Krrish as a toughest challenge of their respective careers for all actors working in the film. Presiding over the music of the film is popular music director, Rajesh Roshan, who had given the music for the predecessors. Rajesh believes that the action has taken over the musical scores and day-by-day it becomes difficult for him to churn out the music which will commensurate film’s story and requirements. Still recuperating from his surgery, Hrithik believes that Krrish is a superhero who resides in every human’s heart since it is only human will which helps one surmount the hurdles of life.

Meanwhile the trailer appeases the audience; we await Diwali for the film’s release.

“…special effects which are at par with any Hollywood superhero film”

You mentioned man of steel just a few line back, do you really think that trailer has cgi on par with man of steel? The cgi is hilariously bad for hollywood standards, but for bollywood, it looks good enough, nothing that will blow people away. I actually expected much more on the vfx front from a big budget diwali release.

Stop making such movies, everything is copied and the special effects and others looks cheap. Enough of making such movies, try making some decent movie, which has original script, music, acting etc etc.

Really disappointing VFX. had a lot of expectations from this movie. but by the look of the trailer i think the movie will disappoint. Special effects are an integral part of such sci-fi movies. They should have invested more on that.

The trailer just has some absurd frames from the movie put together, which probably are the best ones(best among the bad ones) from the movie.
Imagine how the movie would be if this is what they to show us.
