Initially, a DVD-by-mail service, Netflix only began streaming in 2007. Its popularity has affected the way in which users across the globe consume content. It allows users to binge-watch a whole season of their favourite show without having to watch commercials. What a relief, really! Apparently, Netflix has reported over 81 million subscribers in about 190 countries, including ours. We aren't surprised! Its extensive library makes it a great way of keeping the children and the seniors in the family busy. Though it offers a wide range of TV shows and movies, there still is something we wish we could catch on Netflix – cartoons from the 90s.

Let us take a look at some of the 90s cartoons that we would love to revisit:

Tom And Jerry
This cat and mouse show created by the duo Hanna-Barbara, taught us a very important lesson : size does not matter!

Power Puff Girls
Remember Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup? Well, these butt-kicking girls showed us something important: wait for your turn, or else a green monkey will come for you! Mojo JoJo!

Dexter's Laboratory
We may not have a secret laboratory or an annoying sibling (not sure about this one), but we sure have learnt something from Dexter: it is okay to wear the same shirt every day!

Popeye The Sailor Man
Now who could ever forget Popeye? One important lesson from him: guys should eat spinach if they want girls to stare at their biceps!

Scooby Doo
Scooby and his gang – Scrappy, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma aren't new to us. Something we picked up from them: sometimes, we can't see what is right in front of us. Hence, there is nothing wrong with wearing glasses!

The Flintstones
Yabba Dabba Doo! The Flintstones not only informed us of the two kinds of eyes – normal eyes and button eyes, they also defied the timeline of history – they celebrated Christmas before it existed!
