Holi is knocking at our door. And while we urge you to play sans water this year, we also hope you have dollops of fun. Playing Holi can get really messy, and while there are loads of tips out there that’ll tell you how you can take care of your skin and hair, we’ll help you decide how to dress smart this Holi. Whether you are planning on playing Holi or not, these outfits are definitely a great way to rock the festival.

We are drawing inspiration from our favorite Bollywood celebs. So, ditch that ragged T-shirt and jeans you’ve been wearing every Holi and try something fresh and stylish. Here are some ‘Holi looks’ you can go for this year.

Loose top with leggings like Alia Bhatt
Try a loose top in a dark shade and pair it with leggings. Try to stick to fabrics that are guff. If your top has a broad neckline like Alia’s, go for a bright colored racerback for the balance.

Dark Kurta with a bright colored salwar like Anushka Sharma
This look especially works if you’re sure you’ll give all that water a miss. Team pretty jhumkas with a plain kurta and bright colored patialas/salwar to add the ethnic touch to your outfit.

Save your hair & tie a turban like Shabana Azmi
You hair is the worst victim during Holi. Be proactive and apart from oiling your mane, (which is a must, btw!) try using an old bright colored dupatta and use it as a head-gear. Tie it up like a turban and we assure you, you’ll be smiling even after Holi
