It’s just mid way into 2013 but movie theaters have already catered to several blockbuster Bollywood movies. As 2013 marks the centenary of Hindi film industry of the country, this year will witness the release of many big-budget Bollywood flicks. 2. Kai Po Che

Movie Synopsis: Screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’, this movie revolves around the life of three friends who set out to start their own sports shop and training academy. The film explores their deep friendship and innocence impaired by religious politics and communal hatred, which eventually results in their fallout, and then death.

3. Aashiqui 2

Movie Synopsis: A sequel to the 1990 blockbuster musical Ashiqui, Ashiqui 2 is a love story revolving around the distressed relationship between two musicians – Rahul and Arohi. The main cause of turbulence between the relationship is Rahul’s addiction to alcoholism and  temperament issues.

6. Raanjhnaa

Movie Synopsis: Set on the ghats of Ganges in Banaras, Raanjhnaa is an intense love story about Kundan who falls head over heels in love with Zoya much before his adolescence sets in. Zoya leaves for Delhi. As said love grows with time, Kundan still has his share of love for her. But years after Zoya returns to Banaras but to Kundan’s dismay she is in love with someone else. Then what follows is the love triangle, political drama and an intense narrative.
