Moves to Look Forward to in October As we bid goodbye to September with Judwaa 2, it is time to look forward to October for a variety of reasons. We are nearing the end of the year (yes, the year ran past us too quickly). We are also saying hello to winter and the best reason of all is because there are a variety of movies that will be releasing this month and we have the line-up right here. From Golmaal Again to Chef, Bollywood is definitely going to create a blast at the Box Office. Movies like The Lego Ninjago and Geostorm will make sure Hollywood takes up by storm as well.
Chef (6th October)
Adapted from the Hollywood movie of the same name, Chef looks like a refreshing change from everything we have been watching. Although it is not an original story, we are sure we will learn some interesting recipes from this one.
Golmaal Again (20th October)
Golmaal is back again for the fourth time and it looks spooky. This part has Tabu and Parineeti Chopra as female leads while the men from the previous movie are reprising their roles. Also, from what we have seen so far, Tusshar has a dialogue in this one.
Secret Superstar (20th October)
Produced by Aamir Khan this story will prove to be inspiring with Zaira Wasim making her debut. She looks promising and the story is based on real life. The movie looks really different from the ones we have been watching.
Jia Aur Jia (27th October)
Talking about different, Jia Aur Jia is also something out of ordinary. It is a buddy movie with female leads. Kalki's previous movies, Mantra and Waiting, were unique as well. We have high expectations from this one.
Rukh (27th October)
Manoj Bajpayee's appearances in short films were making headlines and we could not wait to see him in a movie. Looks like the wait is over and we will be seeing him soon in Rukh.
Blade Runner 2049 (6th October)
After 35 years, the makers of Blade Runner are back with a sequel. It would seem that the franchise and sequel fever is compelling them to look back into history for inspiration. We hope this turns out well.
Victoria and Abdul (13th October)
Talking about history, this is another story about Queen Victoria which was actually kept on the low down until now. Ali Fazal stars along with Judi Dench as the titular characters.
The Lego Ninjago Movie (6th October)
From the people who brought to you The Lego series, comes another addition to the franchise and this time the company is relaunching one of their own original toy lines through this movie.
The Foreigner (13th October)
Jackie Chan who is known for his amazing Action-Comedy flicks is coming with an Action-Drama this time which might remind you of Liam Neeson's Taken (to be honest every father-daughter movie reminds us of it). We are looking forward to this one.
Geostorm (27th October)
Starring Gerard Butler, the movie is a projection of a very scary future, where mankind has to stand up against nature for survival. With the makers of The Day After Tomorrow are behind this, the movies bear a resemblance when it comes to the disasters.
Aramm (Tamil) (18th October)
Nayanthara is the lead of this movie directed by Gopi Nainar. She plays the role of a district collector in this movie.
Server Sundaram (Tamil)
Santhanam plays a chef in this movie directed by Anand Balki. Santhanam trained with professional chefs to train for this role.
Mersal (Tamil) (19th October)
After NTR Jr. (in Tollywood) it is time for Vijay (in Tamil film industry) to try triple role. And he is doing just that with Mersal. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Nithya Menon play the female leads.
Which movie are you looking forward to? Tell us in the comments below and don't forget to share.
