So we are down to the last two months of this year and there are a lot of movies coming up this month. November is here and so are the most-awaited superhero movies of this year. But that's not all, a thriller which was not promoted heavily titled Ittefaq is ready to hit the theatres as well and we cannot wait for it. Without wasting time, here's the line-up for the coming month.
Ittefaq (3rd November)
Based on a Yash Raj movie of the same name, this thriller stars Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha along with Akshay Kumar. It has been a while since we have seen a good thriller. This movie is set to change all that. You can read more information about the movie here.
Ribbon (3rd November)
Kalki Koechlin seems to be aiming for consecutive week releases. Her release last week Jia Aur Jia didn't really agree with the critics. This week she is coming with an urban love story along with Sumeet Vyas. You can read everything about the movie here.
The House Next Door (10th November)
Halloween week is incomplete without a horror movie and The House Next Door seems to be that movie. The movie starring Siddharth and Andreah Jeremiah was simultaneously shot in three languages – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Julie 2 (10th November)
Julie has returned after a long time. This thriller drama stars Raai Laxmi as the lead. The first Julie was considered a good movie we can only hope this one turns out good as well.
Shaadi Mein Aana Zaroor (10th November)
Rajkummar Rao is certainly not the one who believes in taking a break. After impressing critics and audience with Newton he is back in Shaadi Mein Aana Zaroor with Kriti Kharbanda alongside him. While Newton was a serious drama, this one is a light-hearted romantic comedy.
Tumhari Sulu (17th November)
We have already seen Vidya Balan play a radio jockey once and she is back on the mike in this one but this time in a different avatar. Along with her we also have Manav Kaul who plays her husband and real-life RJ Malishka who plays RJ Albeli Anjali. The trailer of the movie looks interesting and we cannot wait for this movie.
Tera Intezaar (24th November)
Starring Arbaaz Khan and Sunny Leone as the leads, this movie claim to be a musical drama. The makers have recently released a trailer and you can watch it here.
Firangi (24th November)
Kapil Sharma is back on the big screen and this time he is going back in time to the time before India's independence. From the trailer, the concept of this movie sounds interesting and there is a usual dash of Kapil Sharma comedy.
Good Time (2nd November)
After Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson has been working really hard to shed off his vampire image and this movie is another one of those efforts. It is releasing only for one day so make sure you don't miss it.
Thor: Ragnarok (3rd November)
Talking about comedy. Thor: Ragnarok is considered the funniest and the best Thor movie yet. Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, and Tom Hiddleston effortlessly slip into their roles for the third time with a whole lot of new characters like The Grandmaster joining them. You can read our review of the movie here.
Murder on the Orient Express (10th November)
With a stellar star cast, this Agatha Christie story is getting yet another adaptation and this looks the grandest one yet. Directed by Kenneth Branagh who also plays Hercule Poirot in the movie (perks of being the director). We are really looking forward to this one.
My Little Pony: The Movie (10th November)
My Little Pony the cartoon is getting its own movie now. Zoe Saldana of the Guardians of the Galaxy fame is voicing one of the characters in the movie which is all set to hit the theatres on 10th November.
Daddy's Home 2 (10th November)
A comedy cannot go wrong if it has actors like Mark Wahlberg, Will Farrel, and Mel Gibson. What's more, you can also see John Cena in this movie…or not (see what we did there). If Bad Moms can have a great Christmas so can the Daddys.
Justice League (17th November)
Justice League is finally here. While we have enjoyed the comics and the animated series, the live-action movie has taken its own sweet time and we can only hope that it is worth the wait.
Overtake (Malayalam) (3rd November)
Based on a real-life incident, this Malayalam movie stars Vijay Babu and Parvathy Nair in the leading roles. The movie is being directed by John Joseph.
Detective (Telugu) (10th November)
Vishal Krishna Reddy turns a sleuth in this movie where he is on a lookout for a case to challenge him. His wishes are answered but not without its own perils.
