American Made

Release Date: 29 September

Touted as Tom Cruise's return to the top, American Made seems to have all the action of Netflix's Narcos paired with some of the actor's finest pilot skills since Top Gun.

Blade Runner 2049

Release Date: 6 October

The sequel to the 1982 film, Blade Runner, it's one of the most-awaited science fiction movies of 2017 with Harrison Ford reprising his role and Ryan Gosling as a new addition to the cast.

The Foreigner

Release Date: 13 October

Jackie Chan's biggest film in a while, The Foreigner pitches him against Pierce Brosnan when his daughter dies in a terrorist attack and Jackie Chan's character goes on a revenge-fueled action rampage.

Thor: Ragnarok

Release Date: 3 November

The third film with Thor in the lead, it's set two years after Avenger: Age of Ultron. Thor is held captive without his hammer and has to win a duel against Hulk in order to stop his enemies and Ragnarok – the end of Asgardian civilization. 


Murder on the Orient Express

Release Date: 10 November

Based on Agatha Christie's novel of the same name from the Hercule Poirot series, this murder mystery has an impressive cast of Kenneth Branagh, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, and Josh Gad. 


Justice League

Release Date: 17 November

After the massive success of Wonder Woman earlier this year, it remains to be seen if Justice League can continue the hit streak. It will have all the DC heroes teaming up to defeat an evil greater than anything they've faced before. 


The Shape of Water

Release Date: December 8 

From the Hellboy director, Guillermo Del Toro, this film is about a mute janitor girl working at a government lab who discovers a merman-like creature in a water tank and falls in love. 


Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Release Date: December 15

The second film in the Star Wars sequel series, The Last Jedi is also the last film role by the late Carrie Fisher. It's a continuation of Rey's journey from the last film with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker. 


Pitch Perfect 3

Release Date: December 22

The musical comedy is back once more and is the final film in the Pitch Perfect series. The Bellas re-unite at an overseas tour to face a group that uses both voices and instruments. 


Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Release Date: December 29

A sequel to the beloved 1995 film, four teenagers discover an old video game console that brings them into the jungle in the adult-avatars of their choosing. It stars Dwyane Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas.
