Every year Bollywood rakes in the moolah with its share of sequels. Most of which are just plain annoying. Last year a wave of sequels washed us over; Ragini MMS 2, Bhootnath Returns, Singham are just a few to name. If you love sequels, 2015 is a good year for you. Bollywood has a lot in store for its fan. From ABCD 2 to Hera Pheri 3 to Tanu weds Manu Returns, 2015 has some power-packed sequels lined up. Yes, Bollywood is back into its game of sequel frenzy.
Though most of the sequels turn out to be major disappointments, there’s no stopping for the Bollywood directors. However, there are some amazing films in Bollywood which definitely deserves a sequel. So, here are five Bollywood sequels we’re desperately holding out hope to see one day.

So what is Vidya Bagchi doing now? Is revenge still on her mind? Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani is one of the best thrillers of the recent time. It kept us on the edge of our seats and there wasn’t a dull moment. We’d love to see a film that chronicles Vidya’s adventure as she sets off on a new journey. Though the sequel of Kahaani is not on cards, Sujoy Ghosh recently announced a brand new thriller. A cinematic adaptation of the Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X. And, we can’t be more excited!

Kangana Ranaut made us fell in love with her. She gave us life lessons on adventure, love and friendship. Who wouldn’t want another film on the forever endearing Rani? And to make it more interesting… how about a prince charming?

Yes, we want a sequel already!  Well, this was just the beginning.

The Lunchbox

The ending of The Lunchbox has been left to the viewers’ imagination. But we’d love to see a sequel of this film. Does Saajan Fernandez and Ila finally meet? What will it be like when the two of them finally comes face-to-face? We would definitely love to see Irfran Khan and Nimrat Kaur sharing the screen.

Ranbir Kapoor as an alien? Now, that’s something we would love to watch.
