It's safe to say that Tubelight is easily the most anticipated film of the year. How can it not be? Salman Khan is back, and that too with Kabir Khan. Going by their success rate, this collaboration has definitely sparked curiosity among many. With only a few days left to the release, it is hard to contain the excitement. Suddenly, Eid seems too far!

Both the teaser and the trailer were dropped last month. They definitely left us impressed and gave us several reasons to watch Tubelight. Here are five:

Salman Khan – The man himself!
Let's begin with the most obvious one. In a career spanning almost close to three decades, Salman Khan has gone from playing the quintessential good boy, the man with the golden heart and sometimes a corrupt police officer, even. This time around, the 51-year-old actor will be seen playing Laxman, a character that takes time to process things. This is the first time he has taken up such a role.

Matin Rey Tangu and Zhu Zhu
After making us go 'awww' over Harshali Malhotra in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan is pairing up with yet another adorable child, Matin Rey Tangu. The boy seems to be an important part of the film and he might just be the star of the show right beside Bhai.

Tubelight will see no Bollywood diva. In fact, it stars Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu in the lead. Her filmogaphy includes Hollywood films like Shanghai Calling (2012) and The Man with the Iron Fists (2012). It would be interesting to see how her Bollywood debut turns out.

SRK's cameo
Humare Karan Arjun aa gaye! Seeing Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in one frame is such a delight. After almost 10 years, we will get a chance to see them together. King Khan will be making an appearance. Apparently, he is playing a magician in the film.

The Music
Pritam da and Salman Khan always make a great combo! We can still dance to the tunes of Aaj Ki Party and Selfie Le Le Re at any given point in time. This time too we have some rather enjoyable melodies, most of which are already chartbusters.

The Story
An interesting storyline has always been the mark of a Kabir Khan film. Tubelight is no different. While the makers have confirmed that parts of the film are based on The Little Boy (2015), the film is set in the Indo-Sino war era. It is the story of a man who goes in search of his brother after the war.

#TinkaTinkaDilMera out now! A heartfelt and soulful melody by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Watch here: @beingsalmankhan @kabirkhankk @skfilmsofficial @tubelightkieid
