Ashutosh Gowariker, the name is associated with films that are "set on a huge canvas while boasting of an opulent treatment". His filmography include movies like the epic sports-drama Lagaan and the historical-romance Jodhaa Akbar and achievements include being a voting member at the Oscars (2015). Although most popular as a director, his latest release was not directed by him.
