Love stories are always in the trend (because a majority of movie goers are youngsters and lovers) and romantic movies are always awaited. There was a time when a love story meant two people meeting and falling in love, facing all the trouble that comes their way and live a happily-ever-after life (or sometimes die). It was all about a boy, a girl and non-conforming society and parents.

But with time, the definition of "love" in love stories has changed big time. There are films that showed a different and a rather true side of love stories that the youth today could connect to. Love Aaj Kal starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan is one of such film, where the story started with a break-up. Today, as Love Aaj Kal completes seven years, let’s have a look at seven movies that are coming-of-age love stories with a difference.

Cocktail - BookMyShow

It revolved around Veronica (Deepika Padukone) who becomes best friends with Meera (Diana Penty) and later meets Gautam (Saif Ali Khan) and they all move in together to live in her house.
