It seems just yesterday that the year 2017 began and all of us were talking about the movies to look forward this year. Half a year has already gone by and many of those movies impressed us while some disappointed. As someone filmy once said, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost." The later half of the year seems as movie-packed as the first half with some big releases along the way and some small ones which might just surprise you. In the next week, you are going to see Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma sharing screen space again with Jab Harry Met Sejal and the party is just getting started. We have a list of top 9 Movies to look out in 2017.

Tiger Zinda Hai

Salman Khan didn't quite recreate the Bajrangi Bhaijaan magic with Tubelight but Tiger Zinda Hai is full of promises. A sequel to 2012 hit Ek Tha Tiger, this movie was already in the news since the first look was released. Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan's on screen chemistry was well-loved and so were the action sequences. Will they be able to recreate the same effect again? Watch the movie to find out! If this movie becomes a success like the last one, there might be more Tiger stories in the future.

Toilet – Ek Prem Katha
We all know the lack of sanitary conditions in our country when it comes to toilets. Akshay Kumar's next movie is all about that and more. It is aptly releasing during the Independence Day week, a day we vow to change everything that is wrong with our country.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has become the poster boy of making it big after struggling…a lot. It took everyone a long time to uncover this potential gem. Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is yet another movie where he dons a different role. In this movie, he plays a contract killer and the movie is about his life and his romance. It has been a while since we have seen him in the lead role and it would certainly be refreshing to watch him in action again.

Judwaa 2

Varun Dhawan has proved that he can do comedy well and we couldn't have thought of a better fit of the classic remake. Salman Khan made us laugh out loud with his silly antics and we have a lot of expectations from this one. If you are a fan of silly comedy movies or just like a good laugh, you shouldn't miss this one.

Golmaal Again

Birthdays should be mad fun and glorious…a lot like our Golmaal family. Happy Birthday Rohit!

Golmaal is all set to become India's first comedy franchise and joins the ranks of movies like Fast and Furious. But you won't hear us complaining. Rohit Shetty and the gang is back with another comedy of errors and Parineeti has joined the gang. This is the fourth movie in the franchise and honestly, we cannot wait for it.

How much ever we might criticize film makers for humanizing the most notorious criminals of the past, there is no doubt that people enjoy such stories. It is very informative to learn what makes them do the things they do. Arjun Rampal is Daddy in this movie based on Arun Gawli and the trailer has really got us excited to watch the movie.

The teaser of Simran confused us but we have enough faith in Kangana Ranaut that this film will not disappoint. Kangana has been trying now more than ever to prove that she alone is enough to carry the film on her shoulders. We cannot wait to see how her next venture turns out.

From the director of Delhi Belly comes under drama. While Delhi Belly was set in Delhi (obviously), this one is set in Mumbai and stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead. The teaser has us intrigued and this one could probably be another win for the director.

Secret Superstar
This Diwali, Aamir Khan is bringing us a unique story. What if you have dreams of being a superstar and at the same time you want to appease your parents' wish at the same time? You do what Zaira Wasim's character does in the movie. This journey will certainly be engaging and Aamir Khan's cameo is certainly something you don't want to miss.
