In today’s world, almost all of us are active on social networks. Either we are Instagramming our lunch or tweeting about the traffic. When it comes to celebs, social media is used as a platform to connect with fans. They put up images of their film shoots, firstlook posters, and so much more. But there’s a downside to this, too. A lot of celebs receive hate mails and messages from fans of their contemporaries. Then at times, their posts are misconstrued and they get dragged into controversies. Hence, a lot of stars prefer to stay away from the digital world. Here are some Bollywood stars who aren’t active on social platforms.
Ranbir Kapoor
Recently, the makers of his upcoming film, Tamasha, released a video that took a jibe at Ranbir’s lack of knowledge of social media. Ranbir loves to keep his personal life away from the media and doesn’t want any unnecessary attention. While he stays off the social networks, his father Rishi Kapoor is one of the most talkedabout celebs on Twitter today.

Imran Khan
Imran used to have a Twitter account, but for some reason he didn’t think it was the right platform to connect with his fans. He later deleted his account and has been off the digital world since then. His maamu jaan, Aamir Khan has a Twitter account, but it’s barely active.
Katrina Kaif
Just like her beau Ranbir, Katrina, too, isn’t active on any social networking site. She claims to be a very private person and only talks to the media during promotional activities for her films.
Saif Ali Khan
While the other Khans like Salman, Shahrukh and Aamir have loads of followers on social networks, Saif prefers staying off social media. He feels that a star shouldn’t be that accessible to his fans. His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, believes in the same.
Vidya Balan
Vidya has always maintained that she isn’t very techsavvy. She prefers spending time with her loved ones rather than updating the status of her daily life on social networking sites.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
While her husband and father-in-law are active on social networks, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hasn’t caught on with the digital world. Having said that, she occasionally uses her husband’s account to pass on a message to her fans.
