The word spoof is one many might not be very happy about, particularly they whose creative work has been "spoofed" in the past. But chill, here, we are going to talk about it in a different context. Humor is a serious business and it merits some serious efforts. The trend of spoof videos is not new but has been in the movie business for a long time. It is gaining new ground with more minds bent towards creative mocking. While some live up to the expectations, there are those that are downright atrocious.

While Bollywood has not yet completely explored the spoof genre, there have been attempts to introduce this trend to the mainstream via social media.

Here, we have listed down four spoof videos based on recent Bollywood movies. The original movie might not have been paisa vasool, but these videos, if not anything else, will at least make you giggle.

Housefull 3

The third installment in the Housefull series, directed by Sajid-Farhad stars Abhishek BachchanAkshay Kumar and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles. This spoof video focuses a little more than what is needed, on Abhishek Bachchan's character. Poking fun at famous Bollywood controversies, movies and quintessential characteristics of actors is evident throughout.

Even Bhai could not save this film. Banality was something that defined this movie. But, don’t worry, this spoof on Sultan might lessen the pain. Mr. ModiGoogleVijay Mallya, you will see a lot of the big names here but in a twisted context. Even The Undertaker, the famous WWE wrestler, finds a place in this spoof. It has the right amount of satire and humor and therefore is a complete entertainment package.

M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

We all love M.S. Dhoni and it was evident when the most-awaited biopic released in the country. The spoof does a commendable job in its animation of the scene where we see the iconic Number 7 jersey and its owner Dhoni ready to take on the field. It also includes some well-thought of punch lines related to the world of cricket. You cannot help but grin when a slight reference is made to the 2013 spot-fixing scandal, which saw the end of S. Sreesanth's cricketing career.

Force 2

This spoof is close to the actual movie if we are only talking of John Abraham’s expressions. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are equally important in this video. You can find the re-enactment of the famous scenes from Force 2, while relishing a dose of Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan in the beginning too. The highlight of this spoof is definitely the overflowing love of Bipasha and Karan with certain Force 2 elements here and there.
