The covers of this month seem to be inspired! We love the personality that each magazine has adopted for this month. While a few went with the usual suspects, most have managed to give their covers a twist. From Grazia's afro look to the debonair, gallant look of Hello!. The magazines sure seemed to carry an air of sophistication.
We have chosen our favorite eight that looked amazing this month. Read on and tell us whether you agree. You can add another magazine to our list of eight, if you want. Scroll ahead!
Femina and Grazia
Femina went with the hot and happening Jacqueline Fernandez. She's everywhere in Bollywood these days. The sailor girl look was great and we are glad 'red' was added for the hot effect and the magazine did not just go with the usual blue and white sailor-stripes. If Femina went ultra-feminine, Grazia totally nailed the androgynous look. Shraddha Kapoor's afro-textured hair, high neck and the dotted jacket lend the cover a retro-ish feel. One can almost see the likeness to Will Smith in the 90s.
Femina and Elle
Femina went with the lady who is conquering the world – Priyanka Chopra! PC's sharp expression was balanced with a lovely soft green off-shoulder dress. The issue has India's Most Powerful Women 2016, so having PC on the cover was the right choice! Kalki Koechlin on the cover of Elle looked like a picture-perfect artwork. She's sporting a brown colored coat with a demure expression, in stark contrast with Ms. Chopra's look.
GQ and Filmfare
GQ and Filmfare went with the Dishoom boys this month. John Abraham looked suave and sexy in a collar-up black polo t-shirt. Varun Dhawan kept true to his boyish, rookie image on the cover of Filmfare. We loved the contrast in the GQ cover, and the blue and brown undertone of the Filmfare cover.
Hello! and Verve
Hello! magazine came out with India's Most Stylish list, and no points for guessing which Bollywood superstar graced its cover. Big B may be 73 years of age but he sure has the style quotient of a mega model. On the cover of Verve, we have Vidya Balan. Her calm and grace look almost ethereal in the cover photo. Both the covers have a light background which lends a sort of poise to the pictures.
