Netflix Adapts Lemony Snicket’s Books into a Show?

When Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events was released in 2004, many viewers felt the same and preferred the book over the movie. The Writer
The writer of the book, Daniel Handler (Trivia: Lemony Snicket is his pen name), will be collaborating with a team of scriptwriters to write the script for the show. The Director
Barry Sonnenfeld who directed movies such as Men in Black, Nine Lives, The Addams Family, will be giving this grim story a Burtonesque-meets-Pushing-Daisies feel. So get ready to see depressing incidents presented in a beautiful, artsy way.

Unfortunately, Jim Carrey is not a part of this show but they have roped in Neil Patrick Harris instead, who is equally phenomenal and does justice to the sinister character of Count Olaf.
