Better Call Saul

Liked Breaking Bad? Then watch this new series by its creators, featuring one of the show’s best characters, Saul Goodman, in the lead role. Breaking Bad fans will love this spin-off series on one of the dirtiest lawyers on television. While two seasons of this show have been released abroad, you can watch its first season of 10 episodes on Netflix India. ‘Coz when in doubt, Better Call Saul!


Black Mirror

This sci-fi anthology series by Charlie Brooker will blow your mind! Its stories are usually based in an alternative present or the near future. 13 episodes of the series have been released worldwide, with seven of them available on Netflix. This covers two whole seasons of three episodes each, and a Christmas special, post the second season.



Marvel’s Daredevil, or Daredevil, is a Marvel series, featuring the superhero of the same name. Daredevil is a regular lawyer by day, who fights crime at night. It’s kind of like Batman, only Daredevil is blind. Thus, his other senses are highly sharpened, making him a unique superhero you never imagined. The first season of this series is available on Netflix.


How to Get Away With Murder

Watch Viola Davis at her best. Here she plays fierce criminal lawyer, Annalise Keating, who is involved in a number of murders along with her students. A Shondaland series, HTGAWM will keep you awake at night, as you will not be content unless you finish a whole season at once. The good thing is that only one out of the three seasons is available for you to watch on Netflix.


Jessica Jones

Move over, Black Widow! Jessica Jones is the superhero we need. Another Marvel show, which sometimes goes by the name of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, is about a former superhero who opens her own detective agency. Funny, gripping, and dealing with many dark issues, Jessica Jones is unlike most Marvel shows. All 13 episodes are on Netflix.



You have definitely heard of this show about the infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar. If you haven’t seen it already, this is a good introduction to the Latino-style dramas. Some of the realities of the show leave you stunned, while the performance by its lead actor will have you hooked. Two seasons have released abroad, while the first season is out on Netflix.



This series marks the return of Naveen Andrews on television. It also stars many other Indian actors like Tina DesaiAnupam Kher, and Purab Kohli. The series is about eight people from different parts of the world, who are connected in mind and body. While it’s highly progressive in terms of cultural depiction, the show features a lot of sexual content. The show only has one season so far.


Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

If you are in the mood for some light comedy this weekend, catch Ellie Kemper in the Netflix original show. She plays a girl adjusting to life in New York City, after being trapped in an underground bunker for 15 years. The show is co-produced by Tina Fey, so if you’re a fan of the 30 Rock actress, you know what to expect from this show. Season 1 is available on Netflix to watch.
