Paul Rudd on F.R.I.E.N.D.S - BookMyShow

Paul Rudd’s Funniest Moments in F.R.I.E.N.D.S

When you think of Paul Rudd, you first think of him in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. as Mike Hannigan who, after the lead six was everyone’s favorite character. He was the right match for Phoebe, fit in perfectly with the other cast, and had great chemistry with every character. Whether it was the awkwardness with Ross, or the competition with Monica, Mike always managed to crack us up. Little wonder we always rooted for him and Phoebe. Let’s face it, Mike > David.

Today happens to be the 48th birthday of actor Paul Rudd. Let’s celebrate with some of our favorite Mike Hannigan moments from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Take a look:

The One with the Air-Piano

If we had any doubts on Mike’s craziness, they were cleared in his very first episode. You have to be absolutely insane to be with Phoebe. The ‘playing air-piano’ was kind of insane. And Mike is just that!

The One with the Ping Pong Game

We finally get to see the competitive/sexy side of Mike. He might be the only person on the show to challenge Monica, and he almost won. Almost.

The One Where Things Get Really Awkward with Ross

Mike and Ross left us in splits without even talking! The awkwardness and boredom between two people who have nothing in common, but have to spend an evening together, is hilarious.

The One Where Mutual Awkwardness Turns Into Complete Weirdness

After Mike left Ross’ apartment, we could feel for him. It seemed like a year had passed in there. Imagine him going back there, just because he was asked to. Stay strong, Mike!

The One in Which Mike Hannigan is Crap Bag

Phoebe changes her name to Princess Consuela Bananahammock. So Mike decides to change his to Crap Bag. First name Crap, last name Bag. It’s fun, it’s different, and no one else has a name like that!

The One with the Unconventional Proposal

Remember how Mike and Phoebe almost broke up because he didn’t want to get married? Well, he changed his mind, and proposed thrice, each time being funnier than the last.

The One with the “Talk” with Joey

Phoebe didn’t have a dad who could have the “talk” with Mike before they were married. So, Joey decided to step up and the rest is history.

The One with the Best Wedding Ever

Which is your favorite wedding from F.R.I.E.N.D.S? Ross and Emily, Ross and Rachel, Chandler and Monica, or Phoebe and Mike? For us, it will always be the crazy snowy outdoors wedding.

Happy birthday, Paul Rudd. We really miss Mike!
