Deleted Scenes That Would Have Made the Movies Better

Movies the version we eventually get to see usually tends to be rather different from their original screenplays. Many scenes from the movie are cut during the editing process after they are filmed. These deleted scenes usually make their way into extended editions of the movies or special segments in the DVDs. The reasons for the deleted scenes are often justified, whether it's due to length of the movie, the scenes not fitting into the film or last-minute story changes. But not always. Some deleted scenes would have actually made the movie better. Here is a list of deleted scenes that should have made it to the final cut.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

After years of living with the Dursleys, Harry finally parts his way with them. In this scene, we see Dudley being nice to Harry and finally showing that he doesn't share his father's contempt of his cousin. And although it's just one sentence, it's a very touching moment.

The Wolverine

Wolverine's iconic costume from the comic books never made its way to the big screen. Well, except for a deleted scene that was supposed to be at the end of The Wolverine. Seeing the look on his face, we are pretty certain Logan wouldn't be caught dead wearing the yellow spandex costume.

Suicide Squad

Many scenes ended up being cut from Suicide Squad to make the movie less dark and serious. Of all the deleted scenes that would have surely made Suicide Squad a more fun watch would be the ones with Joker, which, according to Jared Leto, are enough to be made into a separate movie.

Whether or not Zack Snyder did complete justice to Alan Moore's comic remains debatable, but this was a spectacular movie on its own. One of the deleted scenes has the aging Hollis Mason get in one last fight before his death that was cut from the final movie. Seeing him fight back makes his death all the more emotional.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

A scene towards the end of the movie, which would have aptly set up third movie in the rebooted Spider-Man franchise was cut out after Andrew Garfield was fired by Sony. That's not to say The Amazing Spider-Man 2 wouldn't have been better if we got to see that Peter Parker's dad was alive, quoting the famous "With great power comes great responsibility" line.

X-Men Apocalypse

There are several deleted scenes from X-Men Apocalypse that fans would have loved, but this is a monumental moment when Beast gives Scott Summers the visor to control his powers. The deleted scene should have definitely been included in the movie as this is when Cyclops is born.
