We all have some really happy memories of watching cartoons as children. The Looney Tunes, Justice League, Johnny Bravo, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny– the list goes on and on. Cartoons were, and still are, made for one group of individuals – children. Innocent, funny and sometimes educational short episodes, that made kids laugh and entertained them. However, there were quite a few creeps behind these cartoons, who added some hilarious (but completely unacceptable) hidden messages in episodes. A few were lost on the kids, but when some adults saw these messages, hidden in plain sight, they were stunned! Check them out:

Spongebob Squarepants:
The fact that Spongebob Squarepants was based in a town called Bikini Bottom says a lot. However, in one episode, Spongebob is seen cooking a hot dog, which explodes. They then called the hot dog the Exploding Weiner.
Powerpuff Girls:
This one is probably one of the most ridiculous slips the American cartoon censor board made. In a certain episode, the Powerpuff Girls say that kissing boys makes them, and we quote, “bigger and stronger”!
Ed, Edd and Eddy:
If you look closely at one Ed, Edd and Eddy episode, there’s a segment where you’re shown the boys’ room. There are a lot of X-rated magazines, and one is called Jiggy Jiggy. The bathroom is visible too, and on the wall is a note from the boys’ parents that reads- “Don’t touch yourselves.”
Ren and Stimpy:
Ren and Stimpy was pretty offensive back in the day. There’s an episode in which the duo comes across a dinosaur called the Homo Erectis Gigantis. Enough said.
Now, before you attack us, we know this is a movie. But it’s animated, and it’s basically an elongated cartoon. See for yourself why this movie made it into this list:
Guys, come on. At least, keep the kids’ cartoons clean.
