Black Panther has been breaking records and even after 5 weeks after it’s release, the trend has not continued to stop! The Marvel Comics superhero film, Black Panther, is now the highest-grossing movie ever reaching $1.237 billion worldwide, reports Forbes.
Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight was a phenomenal success. It was loved worldwide and it was even critically acclaimed. In fact, it worked its magic to earn $533 million at the box office.
When Marvel released Avengers in 2012, it collected $623 million; thereby surpassing Dark Knight.
Since 2012, no Marvel or DC movies were able to break the box office record created by Avengers. But the record is now shattered by Black Panther and that too in just 5 weeks!
Marvel’s Black Panther has become the highest-grossing superhero movie in the U.S by earning $631 million at the domestic box office. It has also broken Iron Man 3’s record at the worldwide box office to become the biggest solo superhero flick of all time internationally.
