Steven Soderbergh is a renowned director who's given us many hit films over the years – the Ocean's trilogyContagion, and Magic Mike to name a few. He had taken a decision to retire from filmmaking in 2013 with Behind the Candelabra, but has now returned with Logan Lucky and will also be producing the all-female Ocean's Eight. Written by a mysterious Rebecca Blunt, which appears to be an alias, Logan Lucky has the signature entertainment of Soderbergh's other famous heist films – Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen. This time, however, the slick suit-clad men have been replaced by the men of the working class and is set to show you how the other half steals.

The cast of Logan Lucky is full of actors known to give earnest performances. Channing Tatum plays the eldest Logan brother, Jimmy, and his younger brother, Clyde, is played by Adam Driver. The two brothers get the help of Joe Bang, played by Daniel Craig, to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race in North Carolina. Logan Lucky also stars Jim O'Heir of Parks and Recreation fame, Riley Keough who has starred in Mad Max: Fury Road and American Honey, and Seth Macfarlane who has voiced many characters in the animated shows Family Guy and American Dad

If the cast and the director aren't a good enough reason to watch the film, Logan Lucky has also received glowing praise from critics abroad. It is bound to be an absurdly hilarious crime comedy with lots of twists. If you haven't seen the trailer already, you can watch it below:
