Around the year 1981, Hasbro came up with a toy line which became instantaneously popular. Gone were the days, girls would play with their dolls. Now they started playing with ponies. The success of the toyline gave birth to animated TV series of the same name and that lead to it being the kid's favorite toy worldwide. Now they are coming with an animated movie along the lines of Lego Ninjago and it seems that it will be a delightful treat for the kids. Twilight Sparkle and her five friends are ready to take over the big screen as they save Canterlot from Tempest Shadow and her superior the Storm King.

While the adults might not think much of the movie, this one will be a sure treat for the kids with the ponies going on a colorful adventure across Equestria. It's all magical out there. Actresses and actors like Uzo Aduba, Ashleigh Ball, Adam Bengis, Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Michelle Creber, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena, Zoe Saldana and Brian Dobson are all set to be the voices for these ponies. The movie was made in under 8 million dollars and most of the things were done in-house. A new toy line alongside the movie has also been introduced and this seems like a good move for the future of the franchise.

My Little Pony's music was released in September and has already become a favorite among the kids. Sia also contributed an original to the album titled Rainbow. Artists like Lucas Graham, DNCE and CL have also contributed originals to the movie. The movie is set to release on 10th November.
