When The Secret Life of Pets released in 2016, it was an instant hit among children and adults alike. Now, three years later, its sequel is all set to hit the big screens amidst high levels of buzz and excitement. This time around, the cast of The Secret Life of Pets 2 includes some new characters along with the beloved cast from the previous movie. 1. Patton Oswalt as Max

In this sequel, Patton Oswalt has replaced Louis C.K. as the voice of the lead pup, Max.

Eric Stonestreet of the Modern Family fame is back, as he voices Duke the second time around.

3. Jenny Slate as Gidget

Jenny Slate is reprising her role as the voice of Gidget, the Pomeranian who has a not-so-secret crush on Max.

4. Harrison Ford as Rooster

In this sequel, Max and Duke go on a trip with their family to the farm where they meet an older and wiser dog, Rooster (Harrison Ford). Fun fact – this is Ford’s first animated movie.

5. Lake Bell as Chloe

Lake Bell is back in this sequel as she lends her voice to Chloe, the cat who isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants.

6. Kevin Hart as Snowball

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart returns to this anticipated sequel as he lends his voice to the spunky bunny, Snowball.

7. Tiffany Haddish as Daisy

Get ready to witness Tiffany Haddish in action through a new character in this film, Daisy, a Shih Tzu.

8. Hannibal Buress as Buddy

Another returning voice to this star-cast is Hannibal Buress, who plays Buddy, the dachshund with a sense of humor.

9. Bobby Moynihan as MEl

Bobby Moynihan is back with his rendition of the wild and fun pug, Mel.

10. Dana Carvey as Pops

Finally, Dana Carvey will reprise his role as the elderly Basset Hound, Pops.
