Villain - BookMyShow

Most Awaited Mohanlal Film Villain is Full of Mystery!

Rockline Venkatesh under the banner of Rockline Entertainment is ready with their Mohanlal starrer Malayalam thriller titled Villain. Rockline Venkatesh is known famously for producing the Salman Khan movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and also for producing many south Indian movies starring superstars like RajinikanthUpendra and others. Rockline Venkatesh just knows where the money is! Villain’s audio release is set to happen today and this just means the most awaited Mohanlal film of the year will hit the big screen soon.

Villain marks the entry of Rockline Venkatesh into Malayalam film industry. It also marks the entry of south superstars Vishal Krishna Reddy, Hansika Motwani, Raashi Khanna and Srikanth into Mollywood. If you are still not impressed with this huge star cast, we are going to do what's needed. What if we told you Manju Warrier, the beautiful and super talented actress that we all Malayalee fans simply adore will be playing the role of Mohanlal’s wife? Polichu, alle?!

The teaser of the film directed by B. Unnikrishnan opens with a dialogue by Mohanlal which goes like this, “There is nothing strange than a person taking the life of another”. Right at this moment, we get the feel of this film. The film will definitely revolve around a murder. But what if it is not just about a single murder but three murders?

The trailer which was launched a few days ago gives us a glimpse into Mathew Manjooran’s (Mohanlal’s character) way of solving the murder mystery. If you thought this film is just another cat and mouse chase where the cat wins at the end, then you have got it completely wrong. As seen from the trailer Villain is much more than just that. The film's posters made us think that Vishal’s character Shaktivel Palaniswami is most likely to be the villain but the trailer kind of makes you question that. Is Vishal really the antagonist or is it Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop? Maybe it’s not these two but someone else who we least suspect? Oh! The mystery will kill us all.

If you want to catch a glimpse of the mystery that awaits you in the nearest theatre soon, watch Villain’s trailer right here, right now! And don't forget to stay tuned for the review.
