All the exciting movies that we were eagerly looking forward to have been pushed – some to the coming few months and some even to next year. Peter Segal’s My Spy is no exception. While it’s disappointing, the important thing is to focus on is catching up on all your backlog of movies and TV shows. But, above all, focus on staying indoors and staying safe. As promised, here’s the complete low-down on everything you need to know about My Spy.
The trailer for the action-comedy movie My Spy was recently released and the plot follows a CIA operative (Dave Bautista) who finds his career on the line when his cover is blown by a nine-year-old girl during one of his operations. Due to the strange predicament that he’s in, he strikes up a deal with the little girl. In exchange for her silence, he agrees to teach her how to become a spy, almost every child’s dream. This unlikely bond between the duo and their adventures together form the crux of the film.
Directed by Peter Segal and written by Jon and Erich Hoeber, this movie also stars Kristen Schaal, Ken Jeong, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Greg Bryk among others. My Spy was earlier set to release in August 2019 but due to post-production delays, it was moved to a release date in March. However, due to the Coronavirus, it has been pushed yet again to April 17. Let’s hope this movie can catch a break and finally release.
