Movies based on World War II barely make big releases in India. But the upcoming movie by Julius Avery is no ordinary war film. Produced by J. J. AbramsOverlord is the story of American soldiers behind enemy lines on D-Day. It has elements of drama and horror as it explores the secret experiments conducted by the Nazi Army to conjure supernatural forces in order to secure a victory in the war. The film is scheduled to release in the US on November 09, 2018 by Paramount Pictures, while the release date in India is tentative.

The trailer of Overlord has created much hype for the film, which led to its early premiere at the Fantastic Fest 2018. The movie stars some well-known actors, who look vaguely familiar. Here’s where you have seen them before:
