We have been waiting to see Sanjay Dutt back on the silver screen for long now and our wait is over with Bhoomi. This revenge drama has Sanju baba in his action avatar along with Aditi Rao Hydari, who plays the role of his daughter. Dutt was looking for a script for a long time as he wanted to play a character which is different from his usual characters. He wanted to play someone who is vulnerable yet powerful and then Bhoomi came into the picture. The movie explores the sensitive and emotional relationship that a father and a daughter share.

The onscreen father daughter jodi had a great time filming the movie as Sanjay was facing the camera after a long time. The movie also stars Sidhant Gupta who is known face on the television and will be seen on the big screen after two years. The trailer also shows Shekhar Suman and his role looks pretty interesting.

There are six songs in the movie sung by famous names like Neha Kakkar, Badshah, Benny Dayal, Jonita Gandhi, Rahat Fateh Ali Kha and Divya Kumar. There's also an aarti in Sanjay Dutt's voice along with a steamy item number Trippy Trippy featuring Sunny Leone.

The principal photography of this movie was commenced in February 2017 and was initially to be released on 4th August. Later the release date was rescheduled and the highly awaited movie is slated for release on 22nd September 2017.
