Movies tend to leave us nostalgic. Not all genres. But definitely the ones where food is the central theme. Yes! Apart from delicious cuisines, the next best thing in the world are movies about food. The two flavors that follow a global standard are Food and Films. And when they are mixed together, we get the perfect food movies, which both foodies and movie-buffs relish equally. Even in India, food and films share a special bonding right from the days of Bawarchi to The Lunchbox. This Friday, the nation opened the appetizing gastronomic-cum-cinematic dabba of Daawat-e-Ishq.
But, at times, even the most-exotic delicacy can leave a bitter taste in your mouth, if you aren’t careful. The same holds true for movies. Though there are wise men to warn people from eating anything that may cause harm. But certain things are inevitable.
