All the lead actors get equal screen time, and all four of them – Soubin Shahir, Shane Nigam, Sreenath Bhasi and Matthew Thomas – are equally good. Fahadh Faasil is charming – no doubt about that. He has portrayed a character with negative shades excellently.
Why You Should Watch: Without giving away much, we can safely say that Andhadhun is a complete package. The actors do a commendable job in their respective roles with Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu stealing every scene with their odd chemistry. Watch the film for its brilliant performances, the highly engaging story, the music, but most of all, watch it for some mind-blowing entertainment.

He shows us who the perpetrator of these crimes is right at the start of the film and the story is taken forward from his perspective. Vishal Jethwa as the perpetrator stands out. Why You Should Watch: Gully Boy reveals the joys and pains of a side of Mumbai not many know intimately. The rise of a frayed boy who hails from a trying background and makes himself heard by millions is a great story by itself. The hip-hop angle makes it just so much richer and soulful. Hip hop is not just a genre, it’s a mindset and has given a voice to many such artists over the decades. Gully Boy captures all that and more.
Why You Should Watch: Hrithik Roshan – the star of this film – does a really good job of portraying Anand Kumar. His dedication and effort to embody Anand’s character is commendable. The movie does a good job of showcasing how coaching institutes have hit the jackpot when it comes to minting money to train students for this exam. If you are a college student or if your child is a college student, don’t miss out on this film.
Why You Should Watch: Article 15 will make you question traditional beliefs that are still prevalent, probably in our own homes; beliefs that need to stop existing anymore but still do. The movie will have you hooked from the very beginning and from there it is simply impossible to take your eyes off. Isn’t that what any movie should really do? Article 15 is impressive and poignant and must not be missed.
Why You Should Watch: The film does fall prey to certain Bollywood movie tropes, especially with regards to its action. It also gets melodramatic in parts due to its period genre. Apart from Akshay Kumar’s character and a few more, the other characters are not given much prominence, which would have been an interesting addition to the overall narrative. Parineeti Chopra aces her role and we would’ve definitely liked to see more of her in the film.
Why You Should Watch: Frozen 2 is all about growing up. This comes with a maturity both in terms of character growth and the themes that are tackled in the film. Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck recapture the magic of the first film while giving Frozen 2 its own ground to stand on. Even if you haven’t seen the first film, this one deserves a watch for the spectacular visuals and the songs alone.

Manju Warrier doesn’t get sidelined and has a very strong and bold role to essay, especially in the funeral and confrontation scenes. Vivek Oberoi has a massive debut in the Malayalam industry and he nails it.

No one can fault this actor for his method approach to the character. Kabir Singh might not hit the nail on romance but will surely appeal to the filmy, drama-loving fans who’ll enjoy the rendition of a couple who cannot define the line between love and deep passion.

Why You Should Watch: Watch Dream Girl to enjoy a laughter ride that is packed with entertaining characters that deliver non-stop comic punches. It does have some rough patches but, in the end, the film is a crisp comedy of errors that sets out only to make you laugh and delivers. As the hero and heroine of the show, Ayushmann Khurrana once again proves to us why he is a talented force to be reckoned with.
