10 trends from Bollywood that rule our wardrobe!

Bollywood always inspires us. From dialogues to fashion, we always follow Bollywood trends. Where do you think the Anarkali style came from? Madhubala wore it years ago in Mughal-E-Azam, and she looked like a dream. Almost all the fans of Salman Khan has a blue bracelet, and now with the release of Bajrangi Bhaaijan, we want the pendant too!
Whether you are a movie buff or a fashion fan, you must agree with the fact that Hindi cinema has given us a lot. Some of Bollywood’s most successful stars owe a lot to their on-screen style. No arguments!
Here are ten trends from Bollywood that rule our wardrobe!
Polka dots
There’s nothing like saucy retro. Dimple Kapadia‘s polka dotted-top and the short skirt became a rage among girls in the 70s. And, we still like it.
Winged eye-liner
Fashion always comes back. And the winged eyeliner trend is one such trend. From Waheeda Rehma to Sadhana, all these Bollywood divas rocked their winged eyeliner long before you were born.
Over-sized glasses
Zeenat Aman the "flower child" of Bollywood. In her movie Hare Krishna Hare Rama, Zeenat Aman gave us a slice of the 70s hippie life. She knows how to do it right!
Chiffon Sarees
Nothing speaks sexy like a chiffon sari! Thanks to the Yashraj films, they taught us how to rock a chiffon sari like a diva.
Yes of course, Tom Cruise wore it first. But then, when Bhaijaan aka Salman Khan wore it, the charm was way more 😉
Long Tee Shirts teamed with patialas
Kareena Kapoor is an absolute stunner! In Jab We Met, Kareena’s fashion was less glamorous, but that didn’t stop us from following her style. Nothing like comfy pajamas and a tee shirt.
Aamir Khan’s Goatee
We loved him in Dil Chahta Hai. Soon after the release of the film, men were seen sporting this cute "goatee" look. And it’s still trending!
The "Tere Naam" hairstyle
Well, even though we aren’t big fans of this hairstyle, the fans of Salman Khan love this. It wasn’t surprising that a lot of men was seen sporting this hairstyle.
Anushka Sharma taught us how to carry off a duppatta with a plain tee-shirt in her film Band Baaja Baarat. It’s so simple, yet stylish. How come we never thought of it!
Deepika Padukone’s look in Piku
We just love the way Deepika Padukone is styled in Piku. They are just perfect for the Indian summer.
