5 Bollywood Films Turning 10 This Year

Over the years, Bollywood has given us some splendid movies and performances that we always look back at and appreciate. Not all the Bollywood stars have managed to leave an impression and it is never easy to do so. The year 2007 had some big releases and most of the movies that released that year did really well at the box office. Time passes by quickly and here we are in 2017, 10 years down the line. Most of us definitely have a few favorites from 2007 and we would love to watch those movies again. For some of us, we would never get tired of watching movies that really made a powerful impact and were worth every penny.
Let's take a look at the popular Bollywood movies turning 10 this year.

Taare Zameen Par
The most awaited film of 2007 was Taare Zameen Par. Directed by Aamir Khan and written by Amole Gupte, this is a film which is one of a kind and should be watched by everyone. Aamir Khan is known as an actor who conveys important messages through his movies. This film was one of them and could change your life.

Chak De! India
For the ones who love movies based on sports, Chak De! India was one such movie that won the hearts of many. The king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan was seen playing a very different role in this movie. It is brilliantly shown how a women's hockey team coach unites all the girls in the team to play as a team and win the world cup for India. A sports film in the true spirit of sports is what Chak De! India is.

By far one of Abhishek Bachchan's best performances as an actor was the film, Guru. Guru is the story of an ambitious middle-class man who had big dreams and who wanted to empower the people who contributed to his success. This film and Mani Ratnam's direction received great appreciation and was loved by many.

Namastey London
The hit jodi of Akshay-Katrina have won the hearts of many. We have seen this jodi do a lot of films together and every time when they have come together, they have not failed to entertain us. Namastey London is about a funjabi boy meeting a hinglish brat. A complete family entertainer you will never get bored of watching.

This film saw the great chemistry between Salman Khan and Govinda and their comic timing was simply magical. How can a movie not be entertaining with huge doses of comedy, especially when David Dhawan and Govinda come together. Not to forget Salman's character in this film; he did a great job too. A decade down the line, we would still love to watch these films all over again. Let us know in your comments below which one of these was your personal favorite.
