5 reasons we are kicked about Kick 2

All eyes are on Tollywood now! After the huge success of Baahubali, and recently, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu; there’s no looking back for the Telugu film industry especially with another big release that is on the cards. The mega release of the month is Kick 2, a sequel to the highly-successful film, Kick that turned out to be the mega blockbuster of 2009. Starring Ravi Teja, this film is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited releases of this year. Kick 2 promises double the thrill and entertainment and we of course are very kicked about it. Here are five reasons you cannot give this one a miss:

1. Ravi Teja

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is the star who made Kick a brand. With his whacky sense of dialogue delivery and unusual antics, Kick went on to become a huge success. And we’re pretty sure he’ll repeat the magic in Kick 2.  The buzzword in the first film was ‘Kick’; it’s ‘Comfort’  this time, which means Kalyan does things according to his comfort. Because, idhe selfishness kadhu idhe comfortae.

2. Surendar Reddy and Ravi Teja

Hit filmmaker Surendar Reddy teams up with Ravi Teja yet again with Kick 2. After Kick’s success,  fans have been looking forward to the sequel ever since. And, it’s finally here! Kick 2 releases this Friday.  Written by Vakkantham Vamsi, Kick was a paisa-vasool entertainer and was remade in several languages including – Thillalangadi in Tamil, Kick in Hindi, and Super Ranga in Kannada. Considering the hype around Kick 2, we’re pretty sure this too is set to be yet another winner at the box office.

3. Cult Dialogues

Bored of the same ol’ punchlines? Ravi Teja to the rescue. The actor warns the bad guys with a line that’s a mix of broken Hindi and English, and ends it with – “Don’t make me angry”. We’re pretty sure this line will get a roaring applause in the theater.

4. Supporting Stars

Not one, but three antagonists feature in Kick 2 played by Ravi Kishan, Ashish Vidyarthi and Nikitin Dheer. The talented actor, Sanjay Mishra will be seen in the role of villager while Rakul Preet plays the female lead in the movie.

5. A Sure Success

The first trailer of the film received an overwhelming response from fans. The second has followed suit. With high-octane action sequences, funny one-liners and high star power, it is safe to say that Kick 2 has all the elements of a masala potboiler.

The film is produced by actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on N.T.R. Arts banner. The music and background score of the film has been composed by S. Thaman. You can book your tickets for the film, here.
