The weekend is upon us.

We all know, we’re going to cancel all the plans and end up curled in our blanket to binge-watch some movies. That’s what we always end up doing, don’t we? Weekends are those two days of the week when we reunite with our soulmate, the bed.

Who doesn’t want to dance in ‘sarson ke khet’? Who doesn’t want to break into a dance in perfect co-ordination? We all know that one extra-cheesy over the top filmy person who knows all the dialogues from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kal Ho Na Ho. Here’s what people like them should watch during the weekend with loads of chocolates and tissue paper.

#1 Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

We don’t think this list could be complete without this! It’s Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Yash Chopra, what else do you need?

#2 Tamasha

Imtiaz Ali that showed love requires work and patience. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone keep it real in this one. Indulge in some brilliant music and a journey of self-discovery with your significant other.

#3 Hum Tum

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherji are too adorable together. Hum Tum is helmed by Kunal Kohli, it’s one of the movies you can never get tired of!

#4 Jab We Met

Another Imtiaz Ali gem and a light-hearted one.  Jab We Met gave us many memorable characters and songs. Every Geet has dealt with an Anshuman and will find an Aditya pretty soon.

#5 Bareilly Ki Barfi

A love triangle with a dash of sweetness and brilliance known as Rajkummar Rao. Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon play relatable characters and as Ashwini Tiwari weaves a story that takes us to a candyfloss world.

#6 Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

No one does romance like Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn can make you laugh, cry, and dance along with them.

So, cuddle up with the one you love for a movie marathon.
