Kangana Ranaut's movies are generally fun and to add to this list is the upcoming movie Simran. By the looks of the trailer, Kangana plays Praful Patel who lives life on her own terms and takes it easy. She is fun loving, experimental and addicted to gambling and shoplifting. There are a couple of dialogues in the movie that give us a brief picture of the plot and how fun her character and movie are going to be.
The film is said to be inspired by the life of Sandeep Kaur. She is an NRI in the United States who was convicted of a few robberies. The film was initially announced in the first half of 2015 and the production of the movie started during the first half of 2016. The movie has been shot in Atlanta, United States.
Kangana has also been credited for additional dialogues as she has contributed a lot towards the dialogues of the movie. However, she was accused by the writer of the movie that she has tried to steal the writing credit. There have been a lot of controversies around the movie, revolving around Kangana, the movie crew, and other Bollywood celebrities, but then where there is Kangana controversies follow like her tail.
There are seven songs in the movie sung by singers including Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mohit Chauhan, Jonita Gandhi, Divya Kumar and others. The entire album was released by T-Series on 25th August 2017.
