Mumbai is not only the center of Bollywood but it is also the center of the story for many Bollywood movies. Another addition to that list is the upcoming movie The Dark Side of Life: Mumbai City. The movie marks the acting debut of noted filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt where he plays an old father who lives alone while his son is in the US. The movie revolves around seven stories that are interconnected to each other in some way. All seven protagonists are battling financial and emotional issues and are being pushed towards depression.

The shoot officially began in the year 2015 and is all set to release in theatres. The first look poster of the movie was released on the 31st of August 2018 and it was followed by the trailer that was launched on the 11th of September 2018. The crew of the movie planned and executed a very unique promotional activity where a dummy body was hung on one of the hoardings near the Oshiwara signal in Mumbai this weekend. The scene looked like a suicide and got a lot of attention.

The music album of the movie has a variety of songs including the soulful number Aawargi, Tu mujhse nikalta nahi and a trippy song called Saap sidhi wala saap. All the songs have been released and have certainly contributed to the hype of the film.

The Dark Side of Life: Mumbai City is all set to release on the 23rd of November, 2018. Keep visiting this space for more details on the movie and don’t forget to read our review.
