Bollywood today has become synonymous with fashion as our favorite and not-so-favorite stars keep giving us major style goals. When a team of stylists work on improving your look, you have to to get it perfect. But sometimes, our Bollywood actors or let’s say the characters they play and their stylists tend to go a little overboard thus making disastrous fashion statements.
Bollywood earlier was definitely in serious need of a fashion guru with many yesteryear celebrities sporting some hilarious hairstyles. But even now, time and again, we have seen films where doubtful hair trends are being set by the stars.
Here are some of the funniest hairstyles sported by Bollywood characters.
Salman in Suryavanshi and Tere Naam (1992 and 2003)
Salman has been quite consistent experimenting with hairstyles no one else can dare to try. Be it in his 1992 fantasy film Suryavanshi or as Radhe in Tere Naam. Just look at that. Only Sallu Bhai could have carried it with such confidence.
Akshay Kumar in Action Replay (2010)
In a bid to recreate the retro timeline, Akshay Kumar’s stylist just lost control. If with that fashion faux pas, you manage to get the beautiful Aishwarya Rai, trust us, you can achieve anything in this mortal world.
Shah Rukh Khan in Koyla (1997)
Not many would remember this action thriller, but those who have watched the movie would understand why Shah Rukh’s hairstyle made it to this list. It was both hilarious and creepy at the same time. And strictly, not recommended.
Hrithik Roshan in Lakshya (2004)
Farhan Akhtar’s war drama Lakshya saw Hrithik deliver one of his finest performances on screen. Apart from that, pre-army Hrithik’s hairstyle staying true to his character equally grabbed a lot of eye balls and sighs, not in a very good way.
Rekha in Multiple Movies
No doubt, Rekha is the epitome of grace and beauty, but that doesn`t mean the actress did not have her faux pas moments. Look at these pictures to know for yourself.
Saif Ali Khan in Hum Tum (2004)
In the first half of Kunal Kohli’s much-acclaimed romcom Hum Tum, inspired by Hollywood’s When Harry met Sally, audiences were left dumbstruck by Saif sporting the "Tom Cruise" haircut. Well, while Tom Cruise raised temperatures, Saif did not manage to impress many.
