Movies to Watch Out For in February 2018

The first month of this year is almost over. Shocking, right? How the time flies! But there's a lot that happened in this month like Padmavati was changed to Padmaavat, Pad Man's release was pushed forward and many good movies released, and the year has just begun. But you know what's even better? February also has a long list of movies that we have been eagerly waiting for. Without any further ado, here the list of Hollywood & Bollywood release of February we are looking forward to:


Kuldip Patwal: I Didn't Do it

Deepak Dobriyal, who has portrayed extremely impressive characters in past, is back with another character that will surely get you hooked. Cast as a lead, he plays a commoner who is arrested and accused of the murder of a local politician. But the question is if he would survive the entrapment or did he do it? The movie releases on 2nd February.

Pad Man

After pushing the date of release, Pad Man is one of the most hyped releases of February. It is a biographical drama based on the life of the Tamil Nadu-based activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who worked towards providing cost-effective and hygienic sanitary napkins to the women in the rural areas. The film features Akshay Kumar playing the lead role while Radhika Apte plays the role of his wife. The highly anticipated movie releases on 9th February.


Based on the true story of a mentor and student duo, Aiyaary tells the tale of two strong-minded Army officers, who face clashes owing to their differences of opinion. While Manoj Bajpayee plays the mentor, Sidharth Malhotra plays his protege and Rakul Preet Singh is Sidharth's love interest in the movie, playing the role of an IT professional. The movie releases on 9th February.

3 Storeys

Produced by Farhan Akhtar, 3 Storeys, as the name suggests, revolves around three stories. It stars Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chaddha, Renuka Shahane and Sharman Joshi in prominent roles. It is a drama directed by Arjun Mukerjee and is set to release on 16th February.

Dil Juunglee

Starring Tapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem as the leads, the movie revolves around their friendship and love story, along with the big and small nuances of a relationship. It looks like a fun, colorful and refreshing film with a lot of new faces and other things crazy. The movie hits the theatres on 16th February.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

Another venture of Luv Ranjan starring Kartik Aryan and Nushrat Bharucha will be hitting the theatres on 23rd February. The film explores the new age version of the belief that "marriage" is a marriage between two families, while here "Marriage" is a marriage between two friend circles. What happens when you decide to get married, but your best friend and your girlfriend can't see eye to eye. Check out in the movie.


Hichki presents a positive and inspiring story about a woman who turns her biggest weakness into her biggest strength. Rani Mukerji, who is making a come back with this movie plays the character of an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. The movie releases on 23rd February.

Welcome To New York

Looking like the first spoof movie of and about Bollywood, this movie can well be the most awaited of all. Starring Karan Johar in double roles, the movie stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sushant Singh Rajput, Diljit Dosanjh, Boman Irani, Rana Daggubati, Lara Dutta, Ritesh Deshmukh and others. That's a lot of money gone in casting and you'll get to see this interesting piece of work in theatres on 23rd February.


Maze Runner: The Death Cure

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and the most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. The movie will hit the theatres on 9th February.

Black Panther

After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T'Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country's new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. To save Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with a C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces. The movie is slated for a 16th February release.


After a biologist's husband disappears mysteriously, she puts her name for an expedition with a team that also of consists a psychologist, a surveyor and a linguist. The expedition takes them into an environmental disaster zone. Interesting right? You can watch this movie on 23rd February onwards in theatres near you.

Peter Rabbit

The only animated movie in February, Peter Rabbit is a mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. Catch this hilarious movie as it releases in the last week of the month.
