Now this one’s an official remake of director Subhash Ghai’s cult love story (1983) of the same name which made newcomers Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in to overnight stars.
Thirty two years later, none other than Salman Khan launches two new faces Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty with tremendous fanfare as a producer with director Nikhil Advani at the helm of affairs.
But the big question is – whether the film and both the debutants will make a lasting impression in the minds of the audience?
Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this Salman Khan Films and Eros International joint production:
“The title ‘HERO’ adds up to Number 19 – this octave of Number 1 (Sun) is an extremely fortunate and favorable number promising happiness, success, honor and esteem. In short, it is a very lucky number for future events” explains Bhavikk.
“As per the numerological meaning derived, it seems the film will definitely appeal to its target audience (which mainly comprises the youth) ensuring a decent weekend run at the box office” predicts Bhavikk.
But alas….he continues without a breadth.
“The fate of most films rely heavily on the personal ‘stars’ (read luck) of its main lead protagonists and in this case; the release date of the film – 11th September 2015 does not gel well with Sooraj Pancholi (9th November 1990) and Athiya Shetty (5th November 1992) and that will create a dent in it business after the initial euphoria dies down”.
“As far as their performances go, they shall receive ‘mixed’ reviews and that means it shall take some time for them to be fully accepted by the junta” he adds.
“In short, producer Salman Khan (27th December 1965) and partner Eros International may have not much ‘heroic’ figures to boast of as far the collections are concerned” signs off Bhavikk on a clear note.
